Meet Our Team

Manisha Narula

Co-Founder and Program Director

Manisha is an experienced leader and social innovator. Manisha's passion for education, youth development, community engagement and social innovation has translated into all aspects of her life and career. She has held several roles in the community and has a background in project management, human resources, and marketing. She holds a BBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Human Resources from Simon Fraser University and regularly mentors high school and post-secondary students to help them transition to post-secondary or the workforce. As a curious learner and storyteller, Manisha is dedicated to helping youth find their spark and face the question "What's next?".

Sam Thiara


Sam Thiara is an educator, speaker, and author. Sam's passion is to inspire and motivate others in their personal and professional development through his many adventures and reflections on life’s journeys. In 2014, Sam published his book, Personal Storytelling: Discover the Extraordinary in the Ordinary. Since 2004, Sam has found his calling at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in student engagement, community relations and more recently as a lecturer. Apart from other academic programs involving teaching and human resources, Sam has been involved with 30+ non-profit organizations. For his commitment to helping students and young professionals, Sam received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Governor General’s Caring Canadian Award.Sam received his Masters in Leadership from the University of Exeter and his BBA from Simon Fraser University.


Manny Padda


Manny is an Entrepreneur, Educator, Angel Investor, and Philanthropist. A self-made entrepreneur who built his first multi-million-dollar company at age 26, Manny is dedicated to providing education and mentorship to today’s youth. He sits on a number of advisory boards in the education and not-for-profit sectors, and is an active Advisor and Angel Investor globally and in Vancouver's tech community. He has been named the Canadian Angel Investor of the Year, Global Citizen of the Year and a Top 40 under 40 award recipient. Manny is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Private Equity & Venture Capital program, and is currently completing the Entrepreneurship & Innovation program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He holds an MBA from Queen's University and a BBA (Honours) from Simon Fraser University.
